OUR HISTORY

1969

The Beginning

Venus Industrial Corporation is founded, launching India’s hand tools journey with just two drop-forged hammers.

1989

Osho Tools Pvt. Ltd. is Born

With seven drop hammers and a passion for quality, Osho Tools Pvt. Ltd. is established to manufacture high-performance hand tools.

1995

India’s Only Socket Manufacturer

The Venus Group pioneers socket manufacturing in India, expanding technical expertise under the General Tool Company.

2007

Technology Upgrade Begins

We import our first forging press line from Taiwan, bringing automation and international precision to Indian manufacturing.

2011

Major Expansion: Venus Unit II & Measuring Tapes

The second press line is added, and the Venus Unit II facility is launched. This marks the beginning of measuring tape production using advanced Taiwanese machinery, enhancing our precision tool offerings.

2012

Scaling Up Production

Three additional forging press lines are installed, positioning the Venus Group among India’s largest hand tool manufacturers.

2013

Cold-Forged Sockets Introduced

We begin manufacturing cold-forged sockets, known for their superior strength and exact tolerances.

2017–2018

Osho Tools Unit II Established

Osho Tools Unit II is incorporated as a dedicated facility for automotive parts manufacturing, tailored to meet the high standards of the auto industry.

2019

Adi Industries: Electroplating Reimagined

We launch Adi Industries, a fully automated, imported plating plant, boosting finish quality and environmental efficiency.

2024

Five Units, One Vision

With five integrated production units, the Venus Group now delivers world-class manufacturing across hand tools, automotive parts, and precision components.

Founding Pillar | Industrialist | Educationist

Late Sh. Prem Nath Gupta was the visionary force behind the legacy of Venus and Osho Tools Pvt. Ltd. An accomplished industrialist, he laid the foundation for a manufacturing enterprise that continues to serve global markets with excellence.

He served as Secretary of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H) for over four decades, transforming it into a leading referral institution in North India.
He was also instrumental in establishing the Hero DMC Heart Institute, ensuring access to advanced cardiac care in Ludhiana.

A passionate educationist, he played a key role in setting up Sat Paul Mittal School, now recognized for delivering quality education in the region.
His legacy lives on through the institutions he built and the values he inspired.
